Description: The painting "Figure IX - Dancer" marks the beginning of Iryna Depko's "Figures" series and shows a young woman sitting on the floor as a dancer. In contrast to her later works in the series, the artist uses more earthy tones here and accents with the color gold, which she skillfully incorporates into the composition. Despite the absence of the usual gaudy colors and the more traditional subject, the painting clearly shows Iryna's remarkable artistic talent and her ability to work with colors in a variety of ways.
