Description: On a trip to the salt flats in Mallorca, Sylvia Galos was overwhelmed by the sight of the salt mountains, which rose into the sky like a snow mountain. When she later on devoted herself to the subject of the salt flats, she created several series in which she has abstracted this strange-looking landscape more and more. This picture belongs to one of the first series, where you had sketched with a few black lines your memories of the landscape-shaping salt deposits near the sea on paper.
